There seems to be a feeling of romantic illusion (or delusion) on your part with the Lovers and the Seven of Cups. The Four of Pentacles suggests to me a degree of self-interest and rigidity, which I assign to him. This is how it feels right to interpret the reversal on this occasion, but interpreting reversals seems to be an art-form and I'm a beginner. It could even mean extreme generosity - 'giving yourself away'. Perhaps one or other interpretation will ring a bell with you!
I think The Hanged Man has the bottom line (I like to look to the bottom card for background/ advice) - take a passive stance and see what unfolds. Just make sure you're seeing things clearly (7OC).
ETA: I decided to pull a couple of cards to try and clarify the reversed 4OP and I pulled The Emperor (reversed) and the Five of Wands (reversed). Interesting that all of the cards that I read as pertaining to him are reversed. I think these confirm the feeling of rigidity and add a feeling of control and tension to him - lots of pent-up energy.
Still, I'd go back to The Hanged Man and say wait and see how it plays out. Nice, sensible advice that I feel happy to dish-out regardless of my shaky tarot-skills!
You're really good for a beginner !! That was spot on actually lol thank you so much ill see where it goes. When you said you pulled out the cards pertaining to him you meant how he feels on his side right?
